Unlike the recent visually amazing but staggeringly incoherent Interstellar, Predestination capture the essence of time travel and the paradoxes it creates. In fact, much of the strength of the movie comes from its script, which doesn’t make the mistake of focusing on pseudo-scientific facts; instead it weaves an emotionally intensive plot, full of dilemmas, confusing at first but ultimately unfolds to one hell of an ending.
Thanks to the Spierig brothers for this beautifully shot and cleverly written movie.
P.S. : Special mention to Sarah Snook’s performance in her career-making role (funny how she looks like a female DiCaprio or a male Foster)
